Simple and straightforward

The service is designed to be as straightforward as possible. As soon as you give us instructions to go ahead with the CV writing, a timescale will be agreed which will enable the finished CV to be completed usually within five working days. An express (24 hour) service is available by negotiation.

Appointment to suit you

You will be asked to name a time (morning or afternoon) when you can be relaxed and comfortable to confer with Gwyneth on your CV. Subject to availability, this date will be forward booked and it will usually be possible to complete the CV on that same day.

Writing the Working draft CV

The next step is for you provide information so that Gwyneth can produce a first working draft. This information can be provided in any way you wish, even over the telephone if you prefer.   The working draft is a preliminary outline of your CV which will give a structured framework for discussion at the conference stage.  

On-going availability

The service is unique in that you are not limited to one conference of a set duration. Gwyneth will set aside a whole morning or afternoon for the preparation of your CV.  She will be available to speak with you throughout the CV writing process as necessary. The draft CV will be updated whilst you are on the telephone line so that nothing is lost. You will be asked for your reaction to the wording and layout of the draft CV as work progresses.  You can also give instructions for the amendment or alteration of any technical details.  This is a true consultancy which produces the best possible CV writing service by working as a team with you, the client.

If telephone contact is not convenient

If you are not living in the UK or if you prefer not to work on the telephone for long periods for some other reason, this can easily be accommodated. The draft CV can be used as a "travelling document" and the whole process can be completed by email. The draft CV will be produced in a Word format so you can use it on your own computer to incorporate your comments and alterations and then email it back to Gwyneth as an attachment. The document can be sent back and forth as many times as necessary to modify and complete the CV to your entire satisfaction.  Either way, your feedback is essential for us to provide the best possible CV writing service.  

Flexible service

This service is totally client focused and flexible. Gwyneth will work with you on your CV as much or as little as required. There may even be certain routine information that you prefer to include yourself and if you choose to make this type of contribution that will, of course, save time.

When the CV writing process is finished it will be sent to you as an email attachment in PDF or MS Word format for you to use as you please. 

If you don't have an email connection

Don't worry if you don't have a computer with an email connection at your disposal. We can make other working arrangements to suit you.

Covering letters

We do not offer covering letters as a separate service. However, any help you need with covering letters, or even paragraphs for inclusion in application forms, may be given as part of the CV writing process.

Application forms

We are happy to help with filling in application forms, please ring Gwyneth to discuss your requirements.  

Ongoing help

After the CV writing service is completed Gwyneth will still be available to help you.  You may want to alter or update your CV at a later date,  write a special covering letter; or even amend the CV for a specific job application.  Any such additional work will be charged at the normal rate for extra time.
